It was 11pm, pitch dark outside and pouring rain. Tommy was soaked, his clothes wet all the way through, and shivering, his teeth chattering as he paced back and fourth on the abandoned sidewalk. Adam was suppose to have picked him up over an hour ago but to Tommy's disappointment and dismay the black haired singer was no where to be seen. He tried calling Lisa but she hadn't answered and Longineu was out of the city visiting family, Monte was also with family and Tommy didn't want to disturb the guitarist who had been missing his wife and daughter even if it meant freezing his ass outside in the rain for a few more minutes (hopefully the amount of time it would take before Adam did show up).

He stilled some, holding his footing just barely as the cruel winter wind and rain battered his body, actually causing him to sway and take a step back to keep from falling. Tommy was worried, beyond worried, it wasn't like Adam to promise something as simple as picking him up at 9:45pm and then not showing up at all. Tommy feared Adam might have forgotten or was being held up by something, maybe an emergency. All he knew was that texting and calling Adam had been useless, the singers cellphone was turned off and every time he phoned he got: 'You've reached the voice mailbox of Adam Lambert, please leave a message after the tone.'

Each and every time Tommy felt the strange pull of dread weighing his shoulders and mind down when he called and it directed him to the mailbox, or maybe it was just the shitty weather that was making him feel so ragged and annoyed not to mention unhappy. It just had to be this time when he knew where nothing was and where he could possibly find a hotel to stay the night in that Adam had to go and not show up. What crappy luck. Tommy sighed, a night of pacing back and fourth on the street soaking wet, waiting in vain for someone who obviously wasn't going to show up wasn't how Tommy had wanted to spend his first free night off before they headed to British Columbia for the Richmond and Coquitlam concerts (in four days). Sighing he decided he wouldn't wait any longer, fingering his cellphone and crossing his arms, he started to walk down the narrow sidewalk, passing asian restaurants and alleyways even crossing paths with a few homeless men who begged him for any spare change. Tommy had shook his head answering he had none to spare before continuing on his aimless walking to god knows where. This side of the city was virtually unknown to him.

It was nearly 12am when Tommy sensed something was terribly amiss, and it wasn't the fact that Adam hadn't picked him up, he felt as if someone was following him. Several times he looked over his shoulder nervously only to find that the sidewalk and street was empty, yet still as he walked on he felt as if someone were watching him and at one point he thought he had heard hurried footsteps running towards him. He turned quickly, only catching a brief glimpse of an ugly twisted face through the hard rain before a body smashed into his, pushing him roughly to the ground. Tommy gasped in shock, dropping his cellphone as he blindly fought whomever was attacking him. He smelt beer and marijuana as he thrashed on the wet ground with his attacker, then what felt like a scarf was pulled around his neck from behind and he choked, scrabbling against the wet cement of the sidewalk as his offender yanked him hard, pulling his trembling, tired body against him. What was done next made Tommy's blood run cold.
A firm hand snaked around his front and trailed to his crotch, gripping him through his soaked skinny jeans. The action made Tommy jump and suddenly, despite his fatigued state, he started to fight again, twisted around desperately as the man choked him with the scarf, fully cutting on his air. He was dizzy and his lungs were screaming for a breath but Tommy managed to land a punch to his attackers face. The instant the scarf went slack Tommy turned and made a confused run for it.

He ran into the night, afraid that he might feel disgusting hands grasp him and pull him back but he didn't and it wasn't until he stopped, panting, coughing and sniffling, wishing to call anyone, even disturb Monte, for a ride that he noticed his phone was gone.

Tommy shut his eyes, still panting as he let out a quiet sob, he didn't cry often but right now he felt like a little child who had gotten lost in the super market, or parted from his or her mother. It was a helpless feeling, the knowledge that you were totally and utterly alone and, having just been attacked, vulnerable.

Wiping his eyes Tommy stood up straight, shaking his blonde head as he sought out any type of shelter he could from the rain. The best he could find was a locked doorway in one of the large brick buildings on his side of the road. As he huddled within the doorway, leaning hard against the wall, the rain still hitting him, he heard the steady almost comforting hum of a well taken care of vehicle coming down the street. Glancing up he wondered if he could manage to stop the car and ask for a ride. Making a quick decision he slowly sauntered out of the doorway and back into the biting wind and rain, shivering against the cold he made his way to the road just as the car was passing. To his surprise the car slammed on the brakes, skidding to a sudden stop and the door opened. Tommy saw a tall figure exist the vehicle before warm arms wrapped around him, pulling him into a protective embrace.

"Shit, Tommy," came Adam's familiar voice and Tommy gladly sunk against Adam's chest, sniffling some as Adam held him tighter, practically holding him up. "Fuck, you're a mess, I'm so fucking sorry." Tommy listened quietly to Adam's babbling as the singer leaned down and slid his one arm underneath Tommy's knee's, picking him up and rushing him back to the car. "I totally forgot, my fucking phone was off, I was hanging out with Allison, shit, I'm so sorry baby." Adam said as he set Tommy down within the car then shut the door and rushed back around and got in himself.

He cranked the heat up and helped Tommy put his seatbelt on before pulling his own over. The drive back to Adam's seemed to take forever to Tommy and he wished he was at home, laying deep within his beds blankets, comforted by warmth and not soaking wet and miserable. Throughout the whole drive Adam kept muttering sorry's, but Tommy said nothing. When they reached Adam's it was 2:48am and to Tommy's relief Adam carried him into the house, wrapping towels around him as he stripped him at the same time. Tommy was too cold to complain about being nude in front of another guy and so he just gave into it, still listening to Adam's soft sorry's and pleads for forgiveness as the black haired, blue eyed singer helped him to the king-sized bed. Tommy gladly crawled onto it, falling easily into place and sighing loudly as he trembled some, though thankful for the silky pants Adam had temporarily lent to him for the night. He turned over slowly, laying on his back as he watched Adam with tired eyes. Adam was looking back at him and shaking his head, clearly angry at himself for forgetting about his promise to pick Tommy up. Tommy knew if Adam knew how he had wandered and been attacked the singer would become even more distressed over his actions so he decided he would keep quiet about that for now.

Sighing again Tommy flipped onto his side, facing Adam and reaching out to grasp Adam's wrist as he started to get up. Blinking questionably Adam turned back to Tommy, raising an eyebrow.

"I'm still cold, Adam..." Tommy uttered, shivering despite being underneath the heavy down blanket.

Adam frowned but when Tommy tugged on his arm he got the message, taking a quick second to pull off his day-time clothes, leaving him in his boxers, he scooted Tommy over and climbed into the bed, pulling the shockingly cold blonde to him. Tommy snuggled close, one leg wrapped over Adam's leg as he pressed his face into the crook of Adam's neck, breathing out.

"I'm so sorry, baby, Tommy." Adam said into Tommy's hair, breathing in the scent of the rain.

"I know Adam," Tommy murmured back, shutting his eyes.

There was a pause of silence then Adam wrapped an arm around Tommy's waist and to his back, massaging gently as Tommy fell a sleep, cuddled against him.
Don't ask.
It's 12:53am, I have school tomorrow yet I couldn't sleep so I wrote some random crap. I dunno what's going on or anything I just wrote it -.-'' The rain is courtesy of the hideous weather I have here: rain, major wind etc.
I'm off to bed now. Once again I don't know what's going on here. Just some Tommy/Adam drabble like I always do.
There was gonna be more explicit things in it but I decided to cut them out :3 so no rape-tommy this time (:
Night.
